- Two coffee-shop deployments are reported; expansion to more than 1,000 stores is a future plan.
Initial deployments
Beijing-based Wujie Dynamics announced a strategic cooperation agreement with JD on October 31, IT Home reported the same day. The partners will work on retail applications, commercialization channels and industrial resources, according to the announcement.
The report said the startup’s K15 robots had begun work during October at two Qixian Coffee locations, Xichenli and Changying Tianjie. Its embodied-intelligence robots cooperate with automated production lines in those shops. The first batch of robot products had also been delivered to third-party customers through JD’s platform, the report said.
Expansion remains a target
The partners plan to replicate the project across more than 1,000 Qixian stores and deepen cooperation involving JD MALL and JD RoboBase. They also intend to explore overseas retail applications and jointly commit resources toward a stated RMB1 billion product-cooperation scale.
Those figures describe planned expansion and cooperation, rather than completed store deployments or realized revenue. Wujie Dynamics, founded in March 2025 and headquartered in Beijing, develops general-purpose robot models and manipulation intelligence, according to the report.
