- The analysis separates value delivered to customers from revenue and repeatability for vendors.
From answers to work
Chinese technology think tank Jazzyear published an introduction to its fifth agent research report on October 30, examining commercialization and competitive strategies as AI systems move from answering questions into business workflows.
Its central argument is that useful agents depend on four elements working together: the model, business context, an execution harness and task economics. State management, exception handling and acceptance checks become more important when systems are expected to deliver work repeatedly.
Value is not automatically revenue
The analysis distinguishes business benefits for customers from income captured by vendors. Saving time or expanding capacity does not automatically produce a sustainable procurement budget, recurring payment or a profitable delivery model.
It expects subscriptions, usage fees, per-task pricing, project delivery and continuing services to coexist. For enterprises, choosing tasks, permissions, procurement arrangements and operational processes matters alongside technical integration. For suppliers, the challenge is turning domain knowledge and delivery experience into capabilities that can be reused across customers. These are the think tank's analytical conclusions; the public introduction does not establish measured returns for any individual deployment.
